Why the URL Launcher is not showing on my Samsung screen

Samsung Smart Signage (SSSP) displays come with MagicINFO set as the default content player. If you’re using a third-party digital signage solution like EasySignage, you’ll need to switch your device from MagicINFO to the URL Launcher mode.

 

How do I switch my Samsung screen from MagicINFO to URL Launcher?

To switch the screen to URL Launcher, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Menu.

  2. Select “System”.

  3. Navigate to “Play Via” option.

  4. Change the option from MagicINFO to URL Launcher (or Custom App).

  5. Power off the display, then turn it back on.

  6. Press Home → select ‘URL Launcher’ from the home menu.

 

Can I go back to MagicINFO later?

Yes.
You can return to MagicINFO by revisiting the Play Via setting in the admin menu and switching it back from URL Launcher to MagicINFO.
