## How do I control the volume of a video or IPTV item in a playlist?

The volume of a video or IPTV channel can be controlled inside a playlist.

To mute a video:

-   Go to the Playlists page and open your playlist
-   Click on the layer that contains the video or IPTV stream
-   Click **Edit** on the media item
-   In the Media Settings panel, under **Volume Control**, check **Mute this Video**
-   Click **Save**

To restore sound, uncheck the mute option and save again.
