How do I setup my Windows digital signage?

Setting up a Windows device as your digital signage player is simple with EasySignage. Follow the steps below:

• 🖥️ Step 1: Prepare Your Windows Device

Before installing the EasySignage app, make sure:

1. Your device is connected to the internet (via Ethernet or Wi-Fi)
2. Windows is fully updated and make sure you have the lastest chromium browser installed
3. Disable sleep mode and screen saver to prevent interruptions

The supported Windows versions are Windows 7 and above.

• 💻 Step 2: Download and Install EasySignage for Windows

1. Download the EasySignage app for Windows
2. Unzip the downloaded file
3. Run the installer and follow the setup instructions
4. After installation, the EasySignage app will launch

• 🔗 Step 3: Pair the Screen

1. When the app opens, you’ll see a pairing code on your screen
2. Log in to your EasySignage account
3. Go to the Screens section and click Add New Screen
4. Enter the pairing code shown on your Windows device
5. Once paired, you can assign playlists and manage content remotely

⚙️ How to autostart EasySignage on Windows digital signage?

Add EasySignage to the Windows startup folder for automatic launch at boot. The Startup folder contains shortcuts to all apps that open automatically when you sign in with your local Windows account.

1. Create a desktop shortcut of the EasySignage app.
2. Copy the shortcut to the Windows Startup Folder.

Note: If you couldn’t locate the startup folder, follow the below instructions:

1. Press the Windows + R keys on your keyboard. This is going to bring the Run Utility.
2. Type in %appdata% and press the Enter key on your keyboard. This will launch the File Explorer window.
3. Navigate to Microsoft → Windows → Start Menu → Programs → Startup.
