What is the IPTV app in EasySignage?
The IPTV app lets you stream live TV channels or video streams directly on your digital signage screens. You add your IPTV source and configure playback so live content plays as part of your signage.
How do I add IPTV to digital signage?
You add IPTV by pasting your stream URL into a playlist layer inside the Management Console .
- Copy your IPTV stream URL
- Go to the Management Console
- Click on the playlist, then the layer where you will add IPTV
- If the layer has no media, the apps dialog will open. Otherwise, click on Add New
- Click on Video Apps
- Click on IPTV Stream
- Paste the copied URL in the box
- Click on Save
Where do I get my IPTV stream URL?
Your IPTV stream URL comes from your IPTV or streaming provider. Copy it before you start so you can paste it into the IPTV Stream box in the Management Console .
Can I add IPTV to an existing playlist layer?
Yes, you can add IPTV to a layer that already contains media. When the layer already has content, click on Add New, then choose Video Apps and IPTV Stream to add your stream.
