How do I rotate a digital signage screen to portrait mode?

You can switch a display to portrait (vertical) orientation directly from the screen settings in your EasySignage dashboard .

  • Open the management console and navigate to Screens
  • Click the settings button next to the screen name
  • In screen details, click Rotate Screen
  • Choose Vertical: 90 degrees
  • Click Save
  • The screen rotates to the selected orientation

 

What orientations can I choose for my screen?

EasySignage supports four orientations, so you can set the display to portrait, landscape, or a flipped version of either.

  • Horizontal: 0 degrees
  • Vertical: 90 degrees
  • Horizontal Flipped: 180 degrees
  • Vertical Flipped: 270 degrees

 

Why did my playlist disappear after rotating to vertical?

When you rotate a screen to Vertical, the screen type changes to vertical, and the media source may be cleared because vertical playlists are different from horizontal playlists.
