How to Organize Digital Signage Screens into Groups?
Learn how to organize your digital signage screens into groups with EasySignage to manage and publish content at scale.
What is a digital signage screen group?
A group lets you schedule playlists for multiple screens at the same time, making it easier to manage and update content consistently at scale.
With screen groups, you can:
- Publish the same playlist or schedule to many screens at once
- Keep content consistent across screens
- Manage and update screens together instead of one by one

You create a group from the screens page in the EasySignage management console and give it a name and orientation.
To add a group:
- Open the management console and navigate to the screens page
- Click on the Groups tab
- Click on Add Group
- Type in the group name and choose horizontal or vertical
- Click on Save
How do I assign content to a screen group?
Once the group is created, you set its media source by choosing a playlist or a schedule for the whole group.
To assign content:
- Click on Set Media Source
- Choose a playlist or a schedule for this group
How do I add screens to a group?
You add a screen to a group from the screens page by changing its media source to the group instead of an individual playlist.
To add a screen to a group:
- Go to the screens page
- Click on the media source of your screen
- Instead of assigning a playlist, click on Groups in the dialog and assign your screen to the group you created
How do I view and manage screens in a group?
You can review which screens belong to a group and continue adding more from the Groups tab.
To manage group screens:
- Click on the Groups tab again
- Click on screens near the group name to see the screens added to this group
- Add more screens to the group as needed
