# How to Autostart EasySignage on Android TV or Google TV?

Learn how to make EasySignage launch automatically on boot on your Android TV or Google TV smart TV so your screens go live without manual steps.

## Can EasySignage start automatically on my Android or Google TV?

Yes. You can set your Android TV or [Google TV](https://easysignage.com/digital-signage-player/google-tv/) to launch the EasySignage app automatically every time the TV powers on or reboots. This keeps your signage running unattended, so your screens go live with your content without anyone touching the remote.

## How do I enable autostart on Android TV or Google TV?

On your Android TV or Google TV smart TV:

-   Open **Settings** on your TV.
-   Go to **Apps**.
-   Open **Special app access**.
-   Select **Display over other apps**.
-   Enable **Allow display over other apps** for the **EasySignage** app.
-   Restart your TV for the change to take effect.

To restart correctly:

-   Go to **Settings → Device Preferences**.

## Why won’t my TV autostart after using the remote power button?
