How much internet bandwidth does EasySignage require?
EasySignage does not use one fixed bandwidth number for every deployment. The amount you need depends on the content you play.
In general:
- Text and image-based playlists use very little bandwidth
- Video, live streams, web pages, and dashboards need a more stable connection
- Larger deployments benefit from a reliable wired connection
EasySignage also caches content on supported screens, so cached playlists can continue playing if the internet drops. New uploads, live web content, and dashboard updates still need connectivity.
If you are planning a busy location or a menu board with video content, test the screen on the same network you will use in production.
