Learn how to use the RSS News app in EasySignage to display live content from any RSS feed on your digital signage screens.
How to Use RSS News App in EasySignage
- Go to the RSS web page and copy the RSS feed URL, for example: jpl.nasa.gov/feeds/news/
- Go to the Management Console.
- Click on the playlist then the layer where you will add RSS.
- If the layer has no media, the apps dialog will open. Otherwise, click on Add New.
- Click on News Apps.
- Click on RSS.
- Paste the URL in the RSS URL box.
- Select a theme: Theme 1, Theme 2, or Images Only.
Images Only will only get images without displaying the news headline and description - Select Headline color, Description Color, and Background Color.
- Choose the stories count (how many stories to get).
- Wait for the stories to be processed.
- Check the stories and use the arrows to navigate left and right through them.
