This page shows how to use the News app in EasySignage to display live news feeds from popular sources on your digital signage screens, including selecting news categories and configuring layout options.
- Go to the Management Console.
- Click on the playlist then the layer where you will add News App.
- If the layer has no media, the apps dialog will open. Otherwise, click on Add New.
- Click on News Apps.
- Click on one of the preset news apps.
- Choose one of the topics from the drop down(news, sports, entertainment, countries…), it depends on each RSS provider.
- Select a theme.
- Select Headline color, Description Color, and Background Color.
- Choose Stories count (how many stories to get).
- Click on Save.
- Wait for the stories to be processed.
- Check the stories and use the arrows on the sides to navigate left and right through them.
