# Excel Workbook App

Show Excel workbook files on your screens. When the workbook changes, your screens show the new data at the next refresh.

## Copy the Embed Code from Excel

1.  Open the workbook in Excel for the web and go to the sheet you want to show.
2.  Click **File** > **Share** > **Embed this workbook**.
3.  If the workbook has more than one sheet, choose the one to show.
4.  Copy the **Embed Code**.

## Add Excel WorkBook to a Playlist

1.  Open the playlist, then click the layer. See [Playlist Media Management](https://easysignage.com/help/playlists/digital-signage-media/) .
2.  If the layer is empty, the content apps open. If it already has media, click **Add New**.
3.  Click **General Apps**, then **Excel WorkBook**.

4.  Paste the code in **HTML Embed Code**.
5.  Optional settings:
    -   **Refresh rate (minutes)**: tick **Enable** and set how often the screen reloads the workbook (up to 90 minutes).
    -   **Zoom Factor (%)**: tick **Enable** and set the zoom (up to 200%) to make the sheet larger or smaller on the screen.
6.  Click **Save**.
7.  Click **Publish changes of this playlist** to send it to your screens.

**Note:** The screen needs an internet connection to show the workbook.
