Keep your screens fresh and engaging with EasySignage’s MRSS (Media RSS) integration. With simple steps, you can stream video and image content from your trusted media sources directly to your digital signage displays.

MRSS (Media Really Simple Syndication) is an extension of the RSS format that enables you to include multimedia files, such as videos and images, in syndicated feeds. It is commonly used by media publishers, advertisers, news networks, content creators, and video platforms.

Our MRSS app automatically displays rich media content from any valid external MRSS feed. To ensure compatibility, your MRSS file must be hosted on a valid HTTPS server or returned as the response from an API call. Feeds are checked every 15 minutes, and updates occur only for players that are online. If a player is offline, updates will not be sent, but once the player comes back online, the content will refresh.

MRSS app can also be used to integrate with other CMS platforms and media libraries, allowing you to streamline your content workflows across multiple systems. To provide smooth and uninterrupted playback, all media files from the MRSS feed are downloaded to our cloud storage and then synced to your player, ensuring reliable offline playback.

Whether it’s a news ticker with videos, a podcast stream, or a photo slideshow, your screen is always updated without the need for manual uploads. Any changes in the feed will automatically reflect on your screens.
