Which one should you choose?

Choose EasySignage if…

You want the same job for a fraction of the price, with audience AI

  • You need audience measurement: AI Lite is on Enterprise, and ScreenCloud documents none.
  • You want dashboards for less: Looker Studio at $7, Power BI and Tableau at $9.98, against $30 to $36.
  • You need SSO at a published price: $13, with no screen minimum.
  • You want a permanently free plan to pilot on, not a 14-day trial.
  • You run Linux, Raspberry Pi, Chromecast or older Samsung and LG panels.
Choose ScreenCloud if…

You run Apple hardware, or you want the player included

  • You run macOS or iPad players, which EasySignage does not support.
  • You want a purpose-built player and OS bundled with the subscription.
  • You want an API and unlimited storage on the entry plan.
  • Your procurement asks for Cyber Essentials, or your dashboards live in Salesforce or Datadog.
Switching over

Switching from ScreenCloud to EasySignage

Most hardware carries over, so you re-pair screens rather than replace them. Two exceptions: Mac and iPad players will not work with EasySignage, and check who owns any player that came free with ScreenCloud.
Talk to us about migrating
How the move works
  1. Check your devices: Mac and iPad players will not carry over.
  2. Confirm who owns any bundled ScreenCloud player.
  3. Sign up free and connect one screen.
  4. Rebuild your main playlist.
  5. Time the switch to your ScreenCloud renewal.

What to check

  • Which tier has the features you need?
  • Does the annual price still apply at renewal?
  • Is SSO on a plan with a published price?
  • Do you own bundled hardware if you leave?
  • Do your existing devices meet the minimum OS versions?
  • Can the platform measure your audience, or only what played?

ScreenCloud alternative: common questions

Yes, on every equivalent tier: $7, $9.98 and $13 per screen per month against ScreenCloud’s $24 and $36, or $20 and $30 annual for new customers. On 20 screens with Power BI, that is $1,980 a year against $7,200 to $8,640.
Yes, for new customers on annual Core and Pro plans, or a discounted licence instead. It is a one-off that does not apply at renewal, while the licence gap repeats every year.
Only Enterprise, which is quote-only, annual and for 25 screens or more. EasySignage includes SAML SSO on Enterprise at a published $13 per screen.
ScreenCloud documents none on any plan; its analytics are proof of play and QR code scans. EasySignage AI Lite, on Enterprise, measures crowd count, dwell time and viewer count on the device, with no images stored.
It supports macOS and iPadOS, sells its own Station P1 Pro and PIXI players, gives new customers a free device, includes an API, unlimited storage and offline alerts on its entry plan, connects to Salesforce and Datadog, and holds Cyber Essentials.
Neither cleanly. ScreenCloud adds macOS and iPadOS. EasySignage adds Linux, Raspberry Pi and Chromecast with Google TV, and supports older Samsung and LG panels.
Both hold SOC 2: EasySignage a SOC 2 attestation, ScreenCloud SOC 2 Type 2. EasySignage adds ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and a choice of hosting region; ScreenCloud adds Cyber Essentials and stores data in the US or EU by signup country.

We compared price for an equivalent feature set, feature gating, bundled hardware, renewal pricing, hardware support, third-party licences, dashboards, audience analytics, security, certification, data residency and reseller terms. EasySignage figures come from our pricing page and plan matrix, checked 3 November 2026. ScreenCloud pricing, plan gating, device offer, data regions, security, device requirements, remote device management, brightness control and video wall support were checked against its pricing page, FAQ, security page and help centre on 3 November 2026. Where we say a capability is not offered, that reflects what the vendor publicly documents, not a confirmed absence.
